SuperRugby round 13 - previewWRITTEN BY THE EDITOR ON MAY 17, 2017. POSTED IN SPORTS
Only way to start this week is to apologise for last week. If you come here for the weekly tips and liked the look of what I was throwing out, I sincerely apologise for what a complete and utter disaster that was.
Every match I took a chance on backfired, and then my thoughts that the Sharks and Jaguares were certainties also amounted to nothing.
But hey, new week, new chance to impress. Let's get into it.
Chiefs vs Crusaders 09:35
Is this the one the Crusaders lose? I'm adament that they are going to slip up before the playoffs, but they just keep on proving me wrong.
Stormers vs Blues 19:00
Stormers are back at home, and back with a stronger team albeit with a wing at flyhalf. The Blues will be tough to beat, and no doubt with a fair amount of 'home' support too.
Hurricanes vs Cheetahs 09:35
Things look like they are certainly going to go from bad to worse for the Cheetahs here. Damage control from the kick off.
Force vs Highlanders 11:45
How about that Force win last week! What a surprise, and no doubt a confidence booster for this week. Their opponents have been travelling too to add extra reason to feel confident, but they are still an average Aussie team at the end of the day.
Sunwolves vs Sharks 13:55
This is a good time for the Sunwolves to be playing the Sharks. They've just been rocked by the Kings and with an awkward trip to Singapore to factor into the prep, they are ripe for the taking. That's also what the Jaguares thought recently though too...
Lions vs Bulls 17:15
Strange to think that this game could be seen as a mismatch, but all things considered this is exactly what this match is really. The Bulls at best can try and just hang on here and hope the Lions aren't on top form.
Kings vs Brumbies 19:30
The Kings are really a different team nowadays that seem to have found something special in their ranks. Two big home wins in a row, but it's all catching up with them as they have some key injuries that make the Brumbies big favourites for this win.
Waratahs vs Rebels 08:05
Can't see anyone making the effort to get up for this one. Let's move onto the predictions shall we...
